Ceremony in Honour of the Fallen

In the months which have past since we last met in June of 1942, many comrades have fallen and given their lives for Germany and for the Führer. Before them, in the forefront — I ask you to stand in their honour, and in the honour of all our dead SS men and dead German soldiers, men and women — in the forefront, from our ranks, our old comrade and friend, SS Obergruppenführer Eicke. (The Group Leaders rise from their seats). I ask you to sit.

The situation in the fifth year of the war

I have considered it necessary to call you all together, the High Leadership Corps of the SS and Police, now at the beginning of the fifth year of the war, which will be a very difficult year. Hard-headed, as we always were, in a spirit of respect for the truth with regards to ourselves, there are several things which we wish to discuss at this Troop Leadership Conference. Just as I was accustomed to do in long years of peace, I wish to describe the situation as I see it, in as few words as possible, with regard to our responsibilities and that which we have already achieved and accomplished, as well as with regard to that which stands before us to be accomplished in the future. 

The Russian leadership

First, the military situation. I will begin with Russia. When — I believe it was in 1937 or 1938 — the great show trials were being held in Moscow, and the ex-Czarist officer and later Bolshevik general Tuchachevski and other generals were shot, we were, at that time, all over Europe, even in the Party and the SS, of the opinion that the Bolshevik system, and therefore Stalin, had made one of its most serious mistakes. We were absolutely mistaken in this judgment of the situation. We can state this, once and for all, in a spirit of full respect for the truth. I believe that Russia could not have withstood the two years of war — it is now in the third year of war — had it retained its ex-Czarist generals. It turned — I’ll discuss this first of all — its political commissars into generals, it sought out those who had grown up through the Red Army as commanders, as generals, so that they could simultaneously act as political commissars. The stubborn bearer of the will of the Bolshevik… doctrine, I should like to call it, not an ideology … is, in Russia, simultaneously a commander and leader.

The Attack of 1941

In 1941, the Führer attacked Russia. That was, as we may well say today, shortly, perhaps a quarter or half year before Stalin’s enveloping movement prior to his great thrust into Central and western Europe. I can sketch out this first year with very brief strokes. The attack was effective. The Russian army was driven together into great pockets, destroyed, taken prisoner. We did not then value the mass man as we do now, as raw material, as manpower. Which is not a shame in the end, if one thinks in terms of generations, but it is regrettable today due to the loss of manpower: the prisoners died by the tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands from exhaustion, from hunger.

The winter of 1941-1942

Then came the summer and autumn of 1941, the flush of victory which led us almost to Moscow, the winter of 1941-42. The winter of 1941-42, with its consequences, was, on the one hand, the work of Fate, which hit us hard for the first time; on the other hand, however, it was the work of the political commissars, the politruks, whose severity and relentlessness, whose fanatical, brutal will drove the raw material of the Slavic, Mongolian mass man to the front, and didn’t let him get back out again.

The year 1942

In early 1942 then came our attacks in the Crimea, over the Donetz to the Don and to the Volga. The bow of the German front and its allies was drawn taut. The war could have been brought to a close for Russia in 1942 if all had held out. Since according to all calculations, and in all probability, which must not be left out of consideration in war, with which one must still reckon after all, the Caucasus would have fallen into our hands sooner or later. Russia would have been cut off from its chief sources of petroleum, and hunger would have handled its people even more roughly than is the case today. Then came the collapse of our allies. First came the breakthrough among the Rumanians, then the breakthrough among the Italian Army, which was already of very little value even then, then the breakthrough and retreat of the Hungarian units: the total loss of approximately 500 km of front. This loss required the withdrawal of the German front, in order to be able to close it again at all. This loss made the sacrifice of Stalingrad necessary from the point of view of Fate. It is not our intention to reflect upon every detail here today. I am personally convinced that this sacrifice — that sounds dreadfully harsh when I say so now — was necessary, since, without the link-up of enemy forces around Stalingrad, it would no longer have been possible to close the German front. That will, I am convinced, be the finding of military historical research 10, 15, or 20 years after the war. At the same time, a very late consolation.

DOES THE LAROUCHE GROUP POSE A THREAT TO INDIVIDUALS AND/OR A DANGER TO SOCIETY?

This Forum aims to raise awareness about the dangers of Lyndon LaRouche and the LaRouchites group.  We will also give a voice to all those who suffer because of a failure of our European society to address the legal and ideological issues in question.

Families are failed by a system that does not support them or protect their children from methods of subjugation.

In the case of Jeremiah Duggan, the authorities have thus far preferred to brush a suspicious death under the carpet rather than hear the family’s repeated requests for an investigation into the full circumstances of this violent, tragic and still-unexplained death.

Now, in order to protect the lives of others, for the first time in Germany, former members together with the disaffected families will analyze  whether the LaRouchites represent a danger to society, and to European law

• For more than 30 years, the LaRouche  group  have operated with impunity out of Wiesbaden, in Hesse, Germany.  Never monitored – even when they established a youth movement in 2000 –  their activities go hardly noticed by press and police alike.

• The LaRouche/ Bueso youth sell publications and recruit outside European and American colleges and Universities. They encourage  students to abandon their studies in order to work solely for the LaRouche organization.

• In 1994, the Bueso party (Germany’s LaRouchite political party) was described in the Bundestag as a political sect.

• Disaffected families receive  no  support from  the authorities; to date, they have had no channel to voice their grievances. They stand alone fearing reprisals by the LaRouchites; for when  they speak out, they risk losing contact with their sons or daughters. Victimized families, like the youth targeted by the LaRouche organization, are subjugated by a conspiracy of silence.

• In March 2003, Jeremiah Duggan, a 22 year British student studying in Paris, traveled to  Germany, unaware that the seemingly-legal protest event he was attending was recruiting grounds for the LaRouche Group. Within five days of his visit, Jeremiah died in mysterious circumstances. To date, the Wiesbaden Prosecution has refused all requests to look into the events surrounding Jeremiah’s violent death.

• Police in Germany quickly dismissed the death of Jeremiah Duggan as a “suicide”.  Yet Jeremiah’s body was found close to EIR offices in Erbenheim (Executive Intelligence Review is located in Erbenheim, Weisbaden, which is the LaRouche organization’s press headquarters).  Moreover, this suspicious death follows a LaRouche conference and cadre school, although the authorities have shown little interest in whether or not Jeremiah was the victim of physical or psychological abuse. They have expressed even less interest in whether or not his being Jewish and British – in the company of LaRouche members long demonizing both – had anything to do with his death.

Oskar Schindler was born on 18 April 1908 in Svitavy, a Moravian industrial town, which was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Many ethnic Germans lived in Svitavy, and the surrounding area, the Sudetenland.

Oscar’s parents Johann Schindler and Francisca nee Luser were both Germans from Silesia, who had settled in Svitavy, where he worked in insurance, and the selling of electrical generators for domestic purposes, and dealing with farm machinery.

A sister Elfriede was born in 1915 – Oskar was very close to her, as was his relationship with his mother. After leaving full time education, Schindler worked in the family business in Svitavy, after a short break he commuted to Brno, where he worked for an electrical company called Moravska Elektotechnica (M.E.A.S.), as a representative.

Bored with this work, he then became the manager of a driving school in the town of Mahrisch  – Schonberg, which is halfway between Switavy and Mahrisch Ostrava. It was towards the end of 1927 that Schindler first met Emilie Pelzl, born on 22 October 1907, at her parents house in the village of Alt Moletein, in the area of Honeestadt, northern Moravia, some 60 kilometres to the east of Switavy.

Oskar’s visit was a business trip with his father to the Pelzl household to sell electrical equipment to Joseph Pelzl, the business calls became more frequent, and a whirlwind courtship developed.

Three months later, on the 6 March 1928 against the wishes of both families, they were married. On the very day of the wedding there was a disaster. The local police had received anonymous information that Oskar was already married. He was arrested and detained in the Switavy police cells in order that enquiries could be made.

Heinrich Müller was Head of the Gestapo during World War Two and Adolf Eichmann’s immediate superior, responsible for implementing the “Final Solution”.

Heinrich Müller was born in Munich on 28 April 1901, of Catholic parents. During the Great War he served as a flight leader on the eastern front and was awarded the Iron Cross First Class.

After the war the ambitious Müller made his career in the Bavarian police, specialising in the surveillance of Communist Party functionaries and making a special study of Soviet police methods.

Partly because of his expertise in the field, he was picked out by Reinhard Heydrich to be his closest associate and second-in –command of the Gestapo.

From 1935 the short, stocky Bavarian, with the square head of a peasant and a hard, dry, expressionless face, was virtual head of the Gestapo, even though he was not initially a member of the Nazi Party.

The Italian Government surrendered its forces to the Allies on 8 September 1943, and on the following day General Mark Clark launched Operation Avalanche, the landing of Allied troops on the coast of Italy, near Salerno.
 
On the 10 September 1943 the Germans occupied Rome, Mussolini’s officials perhaps guided by Mussolini himself tried to substitute half-measures to thwart deportation to the gas chambers in the death camps in the east.
 
But after his captivity on the Gran Sasso, Mussolini was a deflated balloon, and the Italian government was much weakened, the Gestapo wasted no time, aided by the Jewish registration lists created in the days when Mussolini and his fascist government had issued anti-Jewish decrees.

Concentration Camp

Dora – Mittelbau also known Dora-Nordhausen was a concentration camp in the Harz Mountains, three miles from Nordhausen, Saxony, in Germany.

The Dora-Mittelbau camp was first mentioned on 27 August 1943 as an external unit of the Buchenwald concentration camp. On 28 October 1944 it became a major concentration camp in its own right, with twenty-three branches, most of them in the vicinity, inside a restricted military area.

The “Eternal Jew” or the “Wandering Jew”

The concept of the “Wandering Jew” is far older than National Socialism. It derives from a literary and popular legend, about a Jew who mocked or mistreated Jesus while he was on his way to the cross and who was condemned therefore to a life of wandering on earth until Judgment Day.

The story of this wanderer was first recorded in the chronicles of Roger of Wendover and Matthew of Paris during the thirteenth century. The exact nature of the wanderer’s indiscretion varies in different versions of the tale, as do aspects of his character, some of the more common themes being the doom of the “Wandering Jew” to travel the world forever, forsaken by all unfortunate enough to encounter him.

Nazi Propaganda saw in this proof that the Jews have been justifiably persecuted by all racers over the millenium.
 

The Eternal Jew exhibition first opened in the Library of the German Museum in Munich on November 8, 1937, and ended on January 31, 1938. Billed as a degenerate-art exhibition, it was the largest prewar anti-Semitic exhibit thus far produced by the Nazi’s. The exhibit featured photographs pointing out the typically “Jewish” features of political figures, such as Leon Trotsky, and international film star Charlie Chaplin.

The displays emphasized supposed attempts by Jews to bolshevize Germany, It did this by revealing an ‘eastern’ Jew – wearing a kaftan, and holding gold coins in one hand and a whip in the other. Under his arm is a map of the world, with the imprint of the hammer and sickle. The exhibition attracted 412,300 visitors, over 5,000 per day.

The exhibition moved to Vienna for August 2 through October 23, 1938, and then to Berlin from November 12, 1938 through January 31, 1939. Police reports stated there was a direct correlation rise in anti-Semitic feelings, and in some cases violence against the Jewish community in each city the exhibition was held.

The Vrba-Wetzler Report

I. AUSCHWITZ AND BIRKENAU

ON THE 13TH April, 1942 our group, consisting of 1,000 men, was loaded into railroad cars at the assembly camp of SERED. The doors were shut so that nothing would reveal the direction of the journey, and when they were opened after a long while we realized that we had crossed the Slovak frontier and were in ZWARDON.

The train had until then been guarded by Hlinka men, but was now taken over by SS guards. After a few of the cars had been uncoupled from our convoy, we continued on our way arriving at night at AUSCHWITZ, where we stopped on a sidetrack.
